01 / Our Story

Space that
breathes.

For over a decade, Muskan Interior has quietly reshaped homes and hotels across Kathmandu — treating each room as an architectural gesture, not a decoration. We work slowly, listen carefully, and build with an eye that favours proportion over ornament.

Our studio unites architects, craftspeople and material specialists. Every project begins on paper and ends in touch — the grain of oak, the chalk of plaster, the cool weight of a stone threshold underfoot.

02 / Services

A studio for interiors, start to finish.

We take on a small number of projects each year so that every one can receive the attention it deserves.

01

Residential

Homes designed as slow, private landscapes — from apartments to hillside residences.

02

Hospitality

Hotels, restaurants and cafés with a strong material identity and a sense of arrival.

03

Workspace

Studios and offices that keep their calm while the work gets louder.

04

Retail

Boutique environments where architecture carries the brand, not signage.

05

Turnkey

Full delivery — from first sketch to the day the keys are handed over.

06

Consultation

Material curation, spatial audits, and second-opinion reviews for existing projects.

04 / Why Muskan

Four reasons,
no more.

  • 01

    Architect-led

Every project is designed by architects who understand structure before styling.

    +
  • 02

    Material honesty

Real stone, real oak, real plaster — no laminates pretending to be something else.

    +
  • 03

    One studio, whole scope

Concept, drawings, procurement and site delivery under a single roof.

    +
  • 04

    Slow craft

We work with a handful of clients each year so nothing is rushed and nothing is generic.

    +
05 / How It Works

Five steps, unhurried.

01

Listen

A long first conversation. We learn the rituals of the household, the way light moves, the things you already love.

02

Draw

Plans, sections, moodboards. We put every idea on paper before we put it on a wall.

03

Sample

Physical materials — stone, wood, plaster, fabric — laid out together so nothing is left to a screen.

04

Build

Our site team leads craftspeople through every millimetre of the drawings.

05

Hand over

Styling, final photography and a home that is ready to be lived in on day one.

06 / In their words

Kind letters from the rooms we've made.

"
They took a rambling flat in Lazimpat and made it feel like a house in the hills. Quiet, warm, unmistakably ours.
Anish & Priya Malla
Private Residence, Lazimpat
"
A studio that understands hospitality is architecture first, decoration last. Every guest notices before they can name why.
Rohan Shrestha
Hotel Ananta, Pokhara
"
The materials arrived on site exactly as they were promised on the moodboard. Rare, and reassuring.
